This is my Body

This is my Body is a participatory queer ritual that traces the history of the Eucharist in order to uncover the erotic, subversive and sacred meanings of breaking bread and drinking flesh and blood.
Developed with the support of the Hannah Barry Memorial Award in 2022, This is My Body will premier at Testing Ground in Melbourne in February 2023.

Άπειρη Στοργή | Infinite Affection
(2021- )
An ongoing intergenerational dance collaboration between first and third generation migrant dancers in Melbourne.
The first iteration was staged in March 2022 with Christos Konstantinides, a 67-year-old Greek folk dancer. Presented at Sts Constantine & Helen’s Greek Church South Yarra. With the support of the University of Melbourne Theatre Board and the Australian Cultural Fund.

Artist in Residence (2019)
In 2019, Luke undertook at 6-month residency with the internationally acclaimed physical theatre company Gekidan Kaitaisha (“Theatre of Deconstruction”). During this residency Luke performed in Part 1 & Part 2 of Kaitaisha’s Jintai Gengo Project, and also developed the solo work 『This is not what I meant to say // こんなことを言うつもりではなかった。』
